The Cape Flats Development Association (Cafda) staged a very successful Women’s Day programme on National Women’s Day, Saturday, 9 August at the Mary Attlee Centre in Retreat. Seen in this picture are girls from a local church performing a spiritual dance. More than 500 women attended the event.
A number of Cafda staff and volunteers recently attended a Gender Advocacy Project (GAP) training course. This group of trainees received their certificates at the Cafda Women’s Day event on 9 August at the May Attlee Centre.
